I am a cybersecurity professional with over two decades of experience, having progressed from a software engineer to a Chief Information Security Officer in the technology industry.
My leadership practice is grounded in a few simple beliefs.
- The strongest security programs are built through engineering excellence and innovation, not fear or policies.
- The security programs must be practical, resilient, growth-oriented, and deeply aligned with business needs and how modern technology is built.
- We are in the business of earning customer trust, which takes precedence over everything else.
- A leader is useless without their people. A strong team is non-negotiable in our pursuit to succeed.
I am currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Motive, where I lead the company’s end-to-end cybersecurity team. I’m accountable and responsible for securing Motive’s products, platforms, infrastructure, and enterprise systems, supporting a business that operates at the intersection of AI, IoT, and large-scale data. I lead a global security organization spanning risk management, compliance, product security, enterprise security, offensive security, and security operations, focused on enabling rapid innovation while protecting customer trust.
Before joining Motive, I served as the CISO at Medallia, where I owned the company’s global cybersecurity strategy and led teams responsible for managing cyber risk across products, infrastructure, and enterprise environments. I was the Head of Corporate Security at Snowflake, where I built the global corporate security function from the ground up during a period of hyper growth. Prior to that, I led Application and Product Security at Amazon Web Services (AWS), helping secure some of the world’s most critical cloud and SaaS services across domains including IAM, AI/ML, databases, storage, and devices. I also played a key role in securing AWS’s expansion into consumer and AI-driven devices—where scale, innovation, and risk converge.
Earlier in my career, I led mobile security at Visa and drove security product development at Intel. I’m passionate about developing high-performing teams, fostering a security-first culture rooted in trust and accountability, and solving real business problems with modern, forward-looking security approaches.
I hold eight patents in security and advise multiple cybersecurity companies and leading VC firms on product strategy, product–market fit, and thought leadership.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, and traveling with my family.
